What is the Zone?
Laser and Tag
Ultrazone combines the two for a one-of-a-kind experience. Laser tag is a high-tech, live action game that engages all your senses. You're in a 4500 square foot arena, bathed in ultraviolet light. You hear pulse-pounding music. You see red laser beams cutting through the fog-filled room. You feel adrenaline kick in, and you taste... victory?
The Briefing Room
Your game starts with a briefing. Your Game Master explains the rules and strategies and shows you how to use your equipment. Then the Game Master divides everyone into three teams: red, green, blue. The whole experience - briefing and one game - lasts about 25 minutes.
The Vesting Room
You now move into the vesting room to receive the equipment you will need. You will receive a vest and laser. On the vest are five sets of flashing lights: the chest, the back, both shoulders and the laser itself. Next to each set of lights is a computer sensor that serves as a target. So you're vulnerable in five places, but so are your opponents!!! (See Settling the Score.) The laser is what you use to tag players and earn points. Firing it creates a cool red beam (think Darth Vader).
A tip for dressing for success: Comfortable clothes and athletic shoes. The arena is filled with UV light, which makes light colors glow in the dark. If you don't want to stand out (and trust us, you don't), wear dark colors.
The Arena
You are now ready to start your game. The doors open and you move into the "Adrenaline Playground." Ultrazone boasts of the only three level, UV painted arena in the state. Each level is filled with mazes, passageways, ramps and obstacles to create a challenging arena. It's dark... fog moves in... music pounds... you're ready to experience three levels of unlimited fun!
